Kate is the most recent member of Paper Zoo, joining in July 2007.
She is a lecturer in Performing Arts at Bradford College where she teaches Acting,
Singing and Dance.
At University, Kate was involved in much experimental theatre including a
performance called “Night-shifting” which began at 9pm and lasted 12 hours!
She has always had a keen interest in feminist theatre and studied the works of Caryl
Churchill as part of her degree.
In her spare time, which is limited as a working mum, Kate enjoys reading, exercising,
spending time with family and friends and shopping for clothes. She lives in Halifax
with her partner and their three children.
Her favourite films include Billy Elliott and Shakespeare in Love, her favourite men
are Ronald Weasley (more of a boy actually!) and Mr Darcy, and her favourite food
is Marmite on toast and parsley - not usually together.
