ANIMAL FARM CAST AND UNDERWAY...
We are delighted that after an extremely successful audition, we have cast our second
version of Animal Farm. We are delighted to welcome three new actors to the cast -
Rachel, Jodie and Hayley who will be rehearsing with the cast from July. The tour will
commence at the National Media Museum in September and will continue throughout
the rest of the year and into 2010. More details coming soon.
GREAT FEEDBACK FOR 1984...
Our most recent production, 1984, was a huge success for both Paper Zoo and the
National Media Museum who hosted the production and provided a phenomenal amount
Plans are afoot to revive the production for touring, so watch this space!

We are delighted to announce that Paper Zoo's production of 1984 at the National Media
Museum on June 3 has SOLD OUT.
We are, however, performing once again the following morning on June 4 at 11am.

Members of the cast and creative team from 1984 will be taking part in a post-show
discussion after their production on June 3 at the National Media Museum. Led by the
event organiser, Fozia Bano, the discussion will include an interview of the cast members
and their reason for staging Orwell's classic.
The discussion is included in the ticket price and will begin after the performance.
JOHN HURT to play BIG BROTHER...
Legendary screen and stage actor JOHN HURT is to play Big
Brother in Paper Zoo's production of 1984.

The actor will not physically appear on stage, but exclusively
filmed footage of the actor will be screened during the production.

Paper Zoo are well underway with rehearsals for their production of 1984, which will be
staged in June 2009.
In early March, Paper Zoo enlisted the amazing talents of a legendary actor who will portray
Big Brother on-screen throughout the production.

Paper Zoo are delighted to announce that the three performances of Animal Farm at the
National Media Museum in September are now completely SOLD OUT. After the success
of 1984 at the Museum, the audiences have flooded back to see our next production.

MORE "FARMING" AND REVISITS OF "1984" PLANNED
We are very pleased to announce that Paper Zoo will be continuing our tour of Animal
Farm into 2010 with venues being confirmed currently. Plans are also afoot to reprise the
enormously popular 1984 during early 2010. Watch this space for confirmed dates!
MORE "FARMING" AND REVISITS OF "1984" CONFIRMED
Whilst touring Animal Farm in 2009, Paper Zoo have managed to confirm
two more dates in Leeds and Wakefield. Both dates and booking info for

We are also delighted to announce some dates, with more to come, of the
enormously popular 1984. Thus far, we will be performing Orwell's tale of
a dystopian future at the Waterside Arts Centre, Manchester on Friday 19
February and at Wakefield (a double-bill with Animal Farm) on

PAPER ZOO MEETS WITH JOHN HURT...
Damien, Dave and Ben met with our "Big Brother", John Hurt at the
Quad in Derby, where John was giving an on-stage interview to
celebrate the 1st Anniversary of the great venue. The Company
members were able to discuss future plans of 1984 with John, which are
looking healthy! John and his wife, Anwen, continue to be a great help!

PAPER ZOO REVISIT THE FRINGE IN 2010
We are delighted to announce that Paper Zoo will be making their second
appearance at the Fringe with their exciting new devised production
We will be performing from 16 - 21 August at St. Augustine's on George
IV bridge, just off the Royal Mile. More info and photos to come soon.
